Singer 1234

The Singer 1234 is an entry level machine featuring 6 stitches including the 4 step button hole.
Convertible free arm

You can remove the accessories trey to use the free arm, and you have to remove it to get to the bobbin case behind the little door that opens down. The bobbin case and bobbin are standard class 15, simple and effective.
Binding take up arm

This machine came in with a thread wound into the take up arm that took me a while to clear out. It works great now.
Under the plastic shell

Most modern sewing machines have a plastic shell that covers a metal skeleton and this machine is no different. As you can see this machine has a plastic cam stack and hook drive gear, but that’s standard for machines now.
Information Plates

Above you’ll find the model information on the left, and the motor information on the right. It’s kind of funny the machine info says .6A and the motor claims .65A. That’s a good indication that they source the motors as they go as opposed to having one made specifically for the machine… btw, it’s not uncommon at all for manufactures to do that.
