Kenmore 119.401

Real, but Toy Sized Kenmore 119.401 sewing machine.
There isn’t a lot of information about these machines. It does have a non Kenmore twin badged as “Sew Easy”. Like many of the toy sized machines it sews a chain stitch, so it feeds thread from the top but has no bobbin. As best I can tell it was introduced in the late 1940’s, and so far I don’t know who it was manufactured by.

The toy sized Kenmore 401 in front of a full sized Singer 401A for a sense of scale.

My example machine is currently missing the motor drive belt, but this machine normally uses a rubber drive belt and a chain that keeps the needle and feed dogs in time.
