Don’t use the mechanics hand cleaner (GoJo, Goop, etc.) on your machines outer finished surfaces, especially the decals. If the shellac covering the machines finish is compromised, the hand cleaner will damage them (finish and decals). Mechanics hand cleaner is fine for cleaning internal, and or un-finished parts, but you need to make sure you wipe them down with a light coat of oil after you’re finished since the hand cleaner removes the old, but still protective oils.
