Singer Protégé 2639




The Singer Protege 2639 is a convertible free arm sewing machine that was introduced in 2003*. This machine uses a class 15J bobbin that isn’t interchangeable with standard class 15 bobbins.

Metal sub frame




Like most sewing machines made in that time, the 2639 has a metal sub frame. This machine does have a plastic cam stack, plastic gears, and uses a cord to change the stitch patterns.
Free arm extension



The free arm extension has a small but handy utility drawer hidden inside.
