JCPenney – 6915
Pictorial

J.C. Penney – 6915. This is another work in progress and little known machine.

It’s marked “Nelco” and “Dist. by J.C.Penney Co., Inc.”, and it was manufactured in Taiwan.

I bought the machine at auction, and it came with a blown motor belt and no motor controller. At some point I will measure it for a new belt and rewire the plug to a more common style so that it can be used.

Given it’s age it’s no surprise that it has plastic gears, cam-stack and stich selector.

The machine does have an all metal bottom end, or at least this example does.

Like a say about most machines from this time period, If you have one and it works then enjoy it while it does, don’t don’t go out and buy one unless you want it as a curiosity.
